Testing AdWords For Quality Landing Pages
Google recently started a beta testing program called "AdWords Testing Quality Score"
Google is now displaying a new Quality Score Metric to select advertisers which gives a very rough idea by saying the target site is Great, OK or Poor. Google's Help Center informs states that this feature is disabled by default for new AdWords accounts and that it can be enabled at any time so you may or may not see it at this time.
A poor quality score indicates a poor match between the keyword and ad text and ultimate target page content. If there is a mismatch it may result in higher AdWords costs for the advertiser.
When the actual AdWords price is also taken into account advertisers can get some clue about what's causing an inflated AdWords price. We suggest that you check to see if the Quality Score metric appears on your reports. If it's missing, you should contact AdWords support and request it for your account. They may enable it and save you some money and affect the amount you're willing to spend on a specific AdWords campaign each day.
