Are You Paying Too Much For AdWords?

Google is displaying a Quality Score Metric to some advertisers which gives a very rough idea in the form of the landing page for the AdWord. The scores are Great, OK, or Poor regarding of the quality of the ad landing page. Google says that this feature is not automatically enabled for new AdWords accounts and that it can be enabled at any time. The reason AdWords advertisers should care is that a poor quality score indicates a poor match between the keyword, ad text and landing page content. Such a mismatch typically results in higher AdWords costs and/or poor prospective visitors.

When the actual AdWords price is considered advertisers can get an idea about what's causing the raised AdWords price. Advertisers using AdWords should check if the Quality Score metric that appears on their reports. If it's missing, they should contact AdWords support and request it for their account. This will be done and then you "the advertisers" will know the real value of the AdWord you're targeting as you analyze further and do some split testing.
